His Majesty the Sultan visits Special Economic Zone in Duqm

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik pays a visit to the Special Economic Zone at #Duqm. His Majesty reviewed the economic, investment and developmental projects and the investment expansion the zone has witnessed in recent years, as well as the efforts exerted to transform it into an integrated economic zone.

His Majesty listened to a briefing on the zone and the Port of Duqm, the achievements realised in the past period, and the future plans to provide an attractive investment environment and attract further local and foreign investments.

His Majesty issued his gracious directives to continue work on harnessing the zone's competitive advantages, in a manner that contributes to entrenching its standing as a promising economic and logistics hub and maximising the benefit of its strategic location.
