Sayyid Badr discusses regional developments with Ed Miliband.

Muscat: Foreign Minister  Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi held a phone call with the United Kingdom’s Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband.

The Ministers discussed the latest regional developments and diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions and create conditions for addressing outstanding issues through dialogue and negotiation.

They exchanged views on ways to overcome obstacles facing political efforts and the importance of building on opportunities for understanding and translating them into practical steps towards consolidating de-escalation, while taking into account the security and legitimate interests of countries in the region.
