
Salalah: The fourth Gulf Youth Forum, a 5-day event being organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Youth, is laying emphasis on enabling young people to acquire the skills necessary to plan, manage and implement initiatives and convert them into practical digital content.
The forum included a number of workshops and dialogue sessions run by an elite group of experts and specialists from the Sultanate of Oman and abroad. It also showcased several successful experiences and practices in the field of digital content industry across GCC states.
In particular, the workshops addressed the concept of soft power and the role of content designers in shaping societal image, transforming local identity and methods for producing impactful content and measuring its effect.
The workshops also dealt with failure as an important part of the experience in developing ideas, the true value behind every project and the building of reputation, successful relationships and professionalism in the workplace.
The forum programme also included visits to tourist attractions in the Dhofar Governorate. -ONA
