Muscat: The Consumer Protection Department in Al Dakhiliyah, in collaboration with the Directorate General of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, has identified violations at a fuel station during a joint inspection campaign aimed at ensuring compliance with approved standards and regulations.

According to the Consumer Protection Authority (CPA), inspectors found that several fuel dispensing pumps at one fuel station did not comply with approved standards and metrological requirements.

The authority said the campaign was conducted to verify compliance with the Consumer Protection Law, its Executive Regulations, and approved technical specifications. Legal action has been taken against the violating fuel station in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations.
