RAFO begins recruitment procedures for new officer cadets

Muscat: Acting in coordination with the Ministry of Labour, the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) on Sunday began recruitment procedures for a number of citizens who wish to join the military service as officer cadets.

The recruitment process ranges between the stages of approval endorsed by the RAFO to the final stage of admission to join the RAFO.

The RAFO extends its expertise and capabilities to facilitate the citizens’ joining the military service in a manner that enables them to perform the national duty and contribute to defending the homeland and preserving its gains.

These efforts are in pursuance of the approach undertaken by the Sultan’s Armed Forces to provide employment for national youth in accordance with approved plans and programmes aimed to supply the Sultan’s Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence with qualified national competencies and contribute to the nation’s prosperity under the wise leadership of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik, the Supreme Commander.
