HM the Sultan conveys condolences to Emir of Qatar in telephone call

Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik held a telephone conversation today with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar.

During the call, His Majesty expressed his sincere condolences and sympathies to the Emir of Qatar on the passing of Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. His Majesty also extended his condolences to Al Thani family and the brotherly Qatari people.

His Majesty prayed to the Almighty Allah to envelop the late Emir in His vast mercy, forgiveness and grace, and to rest his soul in peace in paradise.

The Emir of the State of Qatar expressed his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty for his condolences, sympathies and sincere fraternal sentiments.
