Indian Embassy says 10 crew rescued, one missing after incident involving vessel

MUSCAT: Ten Indian crew members from the vessel GFS Galaxy have been rescued by Omani authorities, while one Indian national remains missing, according to the Embassy of India in Muscat.

In a post on X on Sunday, the Embassy said it is closely monitoring the incident and is in close contact with Omani authorities, the vessel's management and other stakeholders. It added that all possible assistance is being extended to those affected.
