RAFO firefighting teams extinguish blaze at Masirah Port

Muscat: Firefighting teams from the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) at Masirah Air Base responded swiftly to a fire that broke out in fishing vessel debris at Masirah Port in South Sharqiyah Governorate on Monday.

The teams successfully brought the fire under control without any injuries. The damage was limited to the burning fishing vessel debris, authorities said.

The response forms part of the national and humanitarian roles carried out by the Sultan's Armed Forces and other departments of the Ministry of Defence, reflecting coordinated efforts and integration with state institutions to safeguard citizens, residents, and public property.
