Sayyid Badr receives phone call from Mauritanian counterpart

Muscat: Foreign Minister Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi received a telephone call from Mohamed Salem Ould Merzoug, Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Mauritanians Abroad of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania.

The call reviewed the brotherly relations between Oman and Mauritania. The Mauritanian Minister conveyed his country’s appreciation for Oman’s policy and its wise leadership in promoting security and stability across the region.

He also commended Oman’s longstanding role and its values in advancing peace, harmony and constructive cooperation with all countries.

The Minister also expressed his country’s pride in the brotherly ties with Oman and its commitment to further strengthening cooperation across all vital sectors.

Sayyid Badr expressed the same sentiments towards the leadership and people of Mauritania, reaffirming a commitment to expanding cooperation between the two brotherly countries in ways that serve their shared interests and bring greater mutual benefit.
