Sur: Dr. Abdullah Nassir Al Harrasi, Minister of Information, honoured a number of students from the University of Technology and Applied Sciences in Sur, along with employees of the Communication and Media Department in South Al Sharqiyah Governorate, in recognition of their contributions to media initiatives and support for media work.
The students were recognised for their participation in the media forum titled 'South Al Sharqiyah… Sustainable Impact'.
During his visit to the governorate, Al Harrasi reviewed key media achievements, initiatives and programs implemented by South Al Sharqiyah Governorate to strengthen communication efforts and enhance the reach and effectiveness of its media message.
The minister also met with Dr. Yahya bin Badr Al Maawali , Governor of South Al Sharqiyah, to discuss ongoing media efforts in the governorate and explore ways to further develop the media sector and reinforce its role in supporting local development objectives.
