Defence Ministry Secretary-General receives delegation from UK

Muscat: Dr. Mohammed Nasser Al Zaabi, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Defence, received on Sunday at his office in Al Murtafa'a Camp, Alistair Carns, Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces in the United Kingdom (UK), and his accompanying delegation.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the close relations between the two countries and discussed several topics of common concern.

Following this, the first meeting of the Joint Military Committee was held. The session discussed mechanisms for developing joint work and enhancing military cooperation between the defence ministries of both countries, in addition to several topics listed on the committee’s agenda.
