Police arrest suspect with 36,000 psychotropic tablets in Al Seeb

Muscat: The The Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances Control Department, led by the Muscat Governorate Police, has arrested an Arab national in the Wilayat of Al Seeb for possession of a large quantity of illegal drugs.

The suspect was found with more than 36,000 psychotropic substance tablets intended for trafficking, in addition to sums of money in local and Gulf currencies linked to the case.

Authorities confirmed that legal procedures against the accused are currently being completed.
