Oman participates in Asian food & hospitality exhibition in Singapore

Singapore: The Sultanate of Oman is taking part in the 2026 edition of the Asian food and hospitality exhibition “Food & Hospitality Asia (FHA) 2026”, which opened in Singapore earlier today.

Omani companies operating in the sectors of food, beverage and hospitality participate in the 4-day exhibition, which is considered one of the most prominent specialized platforms in Asia, as it brings together a high-level group of decision-makers, investors and innovators from around the world.

The exhibition generates opportunities for establishing partnerships and exchanging expertise in food industry technologies.

This year's edition features more than 2,750 exhibitors representing 115 countries. It is scheduled to attract more than 80,000 visitors and showcase the latest innovations in food and beverage production, hospitality technology and sustainable solutions.

Mahmoud bin Suleiman Al Yazidi, Head of the Department of Export Promotion at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, said, “Oman’s participation in the event is in pursuance of efforts made by the Ministry to ease Omani non-oil exports’ access to promising Asian markets.” He added that the exhibition represents a platform for promoting Omani products and fostering direct partnerships with international investors and suppliers.

For her part, Jawahir bint Nasser Al Rashidi, Export Specialist at the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, said that the Omani pavilion at the exhibition highlights the competitive potential of local food industries and reflects their advanced rate of innovation. This, she observed, contributes to the expansion of local food industries in global markets and enables them to keep pace with rapid developments taking place in supply chains and technologies related to the food industry sector.

Omani companies taking part in the event seek to consolidate their international presence by showcasing top quality products, garnering direct networking opportunities with business partners in the Asia-Pacific region and keeping abreast of technological developments in fields of food production, supply chains and modern culinary arts.
