Emir of Qatar arrives in Oman on private fraternal visit

Muscat: Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, arrived in Muscat today on a private fraternal visit to the Sultanate of Oman.

His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik led the welcoming party for Sheikh Tamim and his accompanying delegation at the Royal Airport.

Alongside His Majesty, the Emir and his delegation were also received by a number of senior officials.

After passing between two rows of the guard of honour from the Royal Guard of Oman, the motorcade of His Majesty the Sultan and the Emir of Qatar headed to Al Barakah Palace.
