Application submissions continue for candidacy in Municipal Council elections

Muscat: The Ministry of Interior continues to receive applications for candidacy in the elections of the Municipal Councils for the fourth term (2026), with the deadline set for Thursday, 23 April 2026.

The Ministry has called upon eligible Omani citizens who wish to run for the candidacy and meet the required criteria to submit their applications through the "Intikhab" (Election) application or the official election website (elections.om).Any candidacy applications received after the specified deadline will not be accepted.
