ROP issues clarification regarding suspension of services in South Al Sharqiyah

Muscat: Police services in the South Sharqiyah Governorate have been suspended due to an internet outage caused by construction work, said the Royal Police Oman (ROP).

ROP said in a statement: "The Royal Oman Police announces a disruption in fiber optic connections belonging to a telecommunications company due to construction work in the Wilayat of Sur. This has disrupted internet services, resulting in the suspension of police services under the South Sharqiyah Governorate Police Command. "

" Repairs are currently underway and are expected to take several hours," the statement added.
