Youth Center unveils diverse skill building packages for Ramadan 2026

Muscat: The Youth Center has announced a comprehensive package of training programs to be held during the holy month of Ramadan in 2026 at its facilities in Muscat Grand Mall, targeting the 15-34 age group.

The program aims to develop young people's skills and help them make the most of their time in ways that enhance their capabilities across various fields.

The package aims to reach at least 1,000 young men and women through a diverse range of programs that combine professional development, technological innovation, cultural identity, and social responsibility, contributing to the preparation of a generation capable of meeting the demands of the future.

The programs include a number of in-person and virtual tracks. The center offers a program on the vocal modes used in the call to prayer (Adhan), focusing on training participants in the modes used in the Adhan and enabling them to deliver it with artistic mastery and spiritual beauty. It also includes a program called "Experience the Skill of Arabic Calligraphy," introducing participants to the art and techniques of Arabic calligraphy.

On the sports front, the center organizes the "Try the Skills of Sports Commentary" program, which aims to equip participants with the fundamentals of commentary, including vocal delivery, sports analysis, and constructing commentary phrases during matches. It also offers a youth challenge program called "Six-a-Side Football," a competitive event designed to promote physical activity and instill teamwork and sportsmanship among young people.

The program also includes "3D Concrete Printing," which introduces participants to the principles of architectural and structural design associated with this modern technology. Additionally, there is a program specifically for the visually impaired on the use of artificial intelligence technologies. This program focuses on showcasing tools and applications that facilitate navigation, text reading, and interaction with smart devices, thereby promoting independence and raising awareness of assistive technologies.

In the digital field, the center offers the "Digital Advertising Campaign Management" program. This program aims to provide participants with essential and advanced skills in managing advertising across Meta platforms. Participants will learn how to create campaigns, define objectives and target audiences, manage budgets, analyze performance, and measure results, with practical applications throughout the program.

As for virtual programs, the center offers a “Data Analysis Using Power BI” program, which focuses on developing digital data analysis skills, along with the “Virtual Youth Academy” program via LinkedIn, designed to enhance self-learning and professional development skills.

This package is accompanied by several community events, most notably the “Ramadan Youth Gathering,” which includes a group iftar (breaking of the fast) and an awards ceremony for winners in recreational and sporting activities, in addition to closing events featuring a youth market and youth challenges.
