
Muscat: Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council, on Wednesday received Ahmed Salman Al Musallam, Speaker of the Council of Representatives in the Kingdom of Bahrain, and his accompanying delegation.
The meeting took place within the framework of his official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
The Chairman of the State Council lauded the strength and depth of the fraternal relations binding the Sultanate of Oman and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
He noted that these relations are built upon a long history of close cooperation and mutual understanding between the leaderships of the two countries.
He affirmed that Omani-Bahraini relations represent a distinguished model, characterized by continuous coordination and integration across various fields, particularly in legislative aspects, serving the common interests of the two peoples. The Bahraini Speaker of Council of Representatives emphasised the depth of the distinguished legislative relations connecting the two Councils.
He stressed the importance of continuing to develop and elevate these relations to wider horizons, through enhancing joint legislative cooperation and coordination, unifying stances and visions in regional and international forums, and exchanging visits and expertise.
