Muscat Nights: Over 200 take part in Ardha Camel race

Al Amerat: The two-day competitions of the Al Ardha Camel race held on Friday and Saturday concluded at the camel racecourse in the Wilayat of Al Amerat.

Camel Khamisa for owner Mohammed bin Nasser Al Hakamani from the Wilayat of Barka grabbed 2026 Muscat Nights’ Bayraq (flag ) prize at Al Zamat Camel Race , followed by Camel Samha for owner Musa’ab bin Hamad Al Jalandani from the Wilayat of Sumail and Camel Shahbaz for Mohammed bin Rabie Al Rahbi from the Wilayat of Ibra, respectively.

Muaz bin Amer Al Saadi , Musa’ab bin Amer Al Saadi, Salim bin Ali Al Qutaiti and Ali bin Salim Al Qutaiti won in Al Tamayoz race, while Mohammed bin Yousef Al Rahbi and Mohammed bin Nasser Al Rahbi won the prize of the distinct riders.

Al Zamat and Al Bayraq camel races topped the activities of Al Ardha camel race organised by the camel owners in the wilayat of Al Amerat , Muscat Governorate within the programmes and activities of 2026 Muscat Nights.

The activities saw the participation of over 200 participants from the various governorates of Oman.

Sheikh Hamid bin Nasser Al Kathiri, Deputy Wali of Al Amerat presided over the conclusion of the event honoured the winners in the competitions and the bodies contributing to the event and members of the committees.
