
Doha: The Sultanate of Oman is taking part in Doha Legal Forum being held in Doha, State of Qatar. The two-day forum is attended by ministers of justice, scholars of law, policymakers and experts from different countries of the world. Oman’s delegation is led by Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Saidi, Minister of Justice and Legal Affairs.
Themed "Emerging Trends and Forward-Looking Insights", the forum seeks to highlight legislative and regulatory frameworks that govern vital economic sectors. It elaborates on the role of these frameworks in providing a safe and attractive environment.
The forum addresses the latest legislative, judicial and academic developments in the legal field under the Qatari law, as well as comparative legal systems. It also aims to contribute to the development of a more efficient and transparent legislative and judicial environment that enhances confidence in the judicial system and boosts the competitiveness of the national economy.
