"Jurf Oman" adventure event kicks off in Wadi Mistal

Muscat: The "Jurf Oman" adventure event officially launched in the scenic, mountainous village of Hadsh in Wadi Mistal, located within the Wilayat of Nakhal. Held under the patronage of the Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, the two-day event, running from November 28th to 29th, has successfully gathered more than 50 adventurers from Oman and abroad.

Set against the dramatic backdrop of the Hajar Mountains, the event is designed to promote adventure tourism by showcasing Oman’s rugged natural beauty. "Jurf Oman" features a range of thrilling outdoor activities, including challenging mountain hiking and rope climbing, providing participants with a deeply immersive experience. With its breathtaking landscapes and demanding trails, the event serves as an excellent platform for adventure seekers to connect, explore Oman’s mountainous wonders, and is expected to significantly boost local nature-based tourism and outdoor sports.
