
Nakhal: The Governorate of South Al Batinah on Monday held a community meeting during which it reviewed the progress being made in service and development projects currently underway in the Wilayat of Nakhal.
Held in the presence of South Al Batinah Governor, Eng. Masoud Said Al Hashmi, the meeting was in pursuance of ongoing efforts to upgrade infrastructure, improve the quality of life and enhance tourism and economic activities in the Wilayat.
Eng. Ali Hassan Al Mujaini, Director of the Department of Projects at the South Al Batinah Municipality, gave a presentation in which he outlined the projects being implemented within the comprehensive development plan for South Al Batinah Governorate.
The projects in the Wilayat of Nakhal include the development of tourist sites, including “Ain Al Thawarah” spring, “Hadiqat Rimal” (Sands Park) landscape and “Qaryat Wakan” model traditional village.
The meeting also discussed the fiscal allocations set for the projects as part of the Wilayat’s overall 5-year plan budget (2021-2025) worth more than RO 23.4 million.
