Muscat: In a joint operation, the Coast Guard Police and the Directorate for Combating Narcotics and Psychotropic Substances, under the command of North Al Batinah Governorate Police, arrested two individuals of Asian nationality near the shores of Wilayat of Shinas.
The suspects were apprehended while attempting to enter the country illegally and smuggle large quantities of crystal meth, hashish, and marijuana in coordination with an international drug trafficking network.
Legal procedures are currently underway against the individuals. Authorities reaffirm their commitment to combating drug-related crimes and safeguarding national security.
