Muscat: The 2025 Royal Oman Police (ROP) Shooting Championship for Light Weapons was held today, Thursday, August 28, 2025.
In the women's competitions, the Special Tasks Police Command team secured the Championship Shield and first place in the overall ranking. The Sultan Qaboos Academy team won the second-place cup, and the joint team from the General Directorate of Airport Security, General Directorate of Police Aviation, and Special Security Police Unit took the third-place cup.
In the overall competition, the Special Tasks Police Command Team was awarded the Heroism Shield and first place. The General Directorate of Equipment and Supplies Team won second place, and the Sultan Qaboos Academy for Police Sciences Team received the third-place cup.
