Muscat: A 10-year-old boy has entered the INDIA Book of Records for his extraordinary memory and speed in identifying world flags.
Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, Muscat.
Joshua Justin, a Grade 5 student of Indian School Al Wadi Al Kabir, Muscat, achieved the feat by correctly identifying the flags of all 195 UN-recognised countries in just 2 minutes and 10 seconds.
The young prodigy is the son of Justin Antony and Nimmy Justin, originally from Ollur, Thrissur, Kerala.
Expressing their joy, Joshua’s father Justin Antony said, “We are extremely proud of Joshua. His interest in geography and his determination to practice regularly helped him achieve this milestone.”
His mother Nimmy Justin added, “Joshua has always been curious about countries and their cultures. We are happy to see his passion being recognised at such a young age.”
Speaking about his achievement, Joshua said, “I love learning about countries and their flags. I practiced every day and wanted to challenge myself. I am very happy to have achieved this record and I want to keep learning more about the world.”
Joshua’s teachers and classmates have also congratulated him, calling the achievement an inspiring example for children everywhere.
