Three arrested for hunting wild birds in Dhofar Governorate

Muscat: Three people were arrested for hunting a number of wild birds in Dhofar Governorate. 

The Environment Authority in Dhofar Governorate arrested three citizens for violating wildlife laws by hunting a number of wild birds, in clear violation of the environmental laws and regulations in force in the Sultanate of Oman. The necessary legal measures have been taken against them.

The Environment Authority urged everyone to adhere to environmental laws and regulations, preserve the natural environment, and refrain from harming or endangering wildlife to avoid legal consequences.
