Muscat: The operational responsibilities of the Marine Rescue Station have been transferred from the Civil Aviation Authority to the Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority, as part of national efforts aimed at strengthening the emergency response system and enhancing the efficiency of rescue services.

The Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority has confirmed its full readiness to operate the station through qualified national personnel specialized in marine search and rescue as well as emergency medical services.
