State Council Office discusses several topics, proposals

Muscat: The State Council Office held its fourth meeting of the third annual session of the 8th term today, chaired by Sheikh Abdulmalik Abdullah Al Khalili, Chairman of the State Council.

During the meeting, the Office discussed the proposed draft of the "Internal Regulations of the State Council" and the Legal Committee's opinion on the matter. The meeting also hosted the council’s member Ahmed Saif Al Rawahi to discuss the submitted proposal titled "Towards More Comprehensive Evaluation Indicators for Economic Development in Light of Oman Vision 2040."

Furthermore, the Office reviewed several reports submitted by the Council members regarding their participation in regional and international meetings and forums. This was in addition to reviewing a follow-up report on the implementation of issued decisions and a report monitoring the Council's activities over the recent period.

The meeting concluded by determining the agenda items for the second joint session of the third regular session of the eighth term between the State Council and the Shura Council.
