Two held in Duqm for smuggling 23 illegal infiltrators

Muscat: Authorities in Wilayat of Duqm have arrested two individuals for facilitating the entry of 23 infiltrators of African nationality.

The suspects transported the individuals in their vehicle and attempted to flee from police before being apprehended.

All infiltrators were also arrested on charges of illegal entry into the country.

The operation was carried out by the Police Command in Al Wusta Governorate. Legal procedures against all those involved are currently underway.
