Oman condemns attack on UAE Embassy in Damascus

Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman has strongly condemned the attacks targeting the embassy of the United Arab Emirates in the Syrian capital, Damascus, describing them as a clear violation of international diplomatic norms and conventions.

In a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Oman affirmed its categorical rejection of such acts that threaten the security and safety of diplomatic missions, stressing the importance of respecting the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations and ensuring the protection of diplomatic premises and their staff at all times.
