‘Europcar Presents the Second Edition of the Oman Internship Fair 2026’

Europcar successfully hosted the second edition of the Oman Internship Fair 2026 on January 25, 2026, at The Diplomatic Club, powered by AmCham Oman, held in partnership with The Diplomatic Club, with British Business Forum Oman and the Indo Gulf and Middle East Chamber of Commerce (INMECC) as strategic partners and supported by Crowe, reaffirming its strong commitment to youth empowerment and industry–academia collaboration.

Organised in collaboration with German University of Technology, Majan University College, Arab Open University and the National University of Science & Technology, the initiative reflects a strong multi-stakeholder commitment to developing future-ready talent in Oman.

Building on the success of its inaugural edition, this year’s fair witnessed a significant increase in participation and engagement, underscoring the growing demand for structured internship opportunities across the Sultanate.

The event attracted over 500 students and welcomed 70 participating organisations, including leading private sector companies and NGOs. Employers represented a wide range of industries such as energy, banking and financial services, automotive, hospitality, construction, insurance, travel and tourism, healthcare, IT, HR consultancy, and business advisory services, offering students exposure to diverse career pathways.

The day commenced with a networking breakfast for participating companies, sponsored by Europcar, followed by welcome addresses, student registrations and a full day of internship interviews and networking sessions. A networking lunch was later hosted for participating organisations, co-sponsored by Europcar and Mumtaz Mahal Restaurant, further encouraging meaningful interaction between employers and partners.

This year also marked the addition of the National University of Science & Technology as a new university collaborator, further strengthening the platform’s reach across Oman’s higher education ecosystem. Due to overwhelming interest from both students and organisations, registrations for the fair were closed ahead of schedule, highlighting the strong demand for internship opportunities and the relevance of the initiative.
