Muscat: The General Directorate of Inquiries and Criminal Investigation, in cooperation with the Special Taskforce Police Unit of Bausher, apprehended 22 women of Asian nationalities for violating labour and foreign residency laws. Legal procedures are being completed against them.
In another incident, the Al Buraimi Governorate Police Command arrested a person for stealing two vehicles from two different locations in the Governorate.
Meanwhile, North Al Batinah Governorate Police Command apprehended two individuals for their involvement in the theft of more than thirty heads of livestock from several farms in the Wilayat of Sohar. Legal procedures against them are being completed.
