
Madrid: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik left Madrid on Wednesday afternoon, concluding a three-day visit to the Kingdom of Spain.
King Felipe VI of the Kingdom of Spain led the farewell party for His Majesty the Sultan at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. His Majesty was also seen off by some officials in the Kingdom of Spain and members of the Embassy of the Sultanate of Oman in Madrid. Prior to his departure, His Majesty graciously signed the Distinguished Visitors’ Book at the airport.
His Majesty the Sultan sent a cable of gratitude and appreciation to King Felipe VI of the Kingdom of Spain, expressing his profound thanks for the splendid reception and gracious hospitality extended to him and the accompanying delegation throughout their visit.
His Majesty the Sultan commended the opportunities created through his meeting with the King of Spain and the Prime Minister to enhance bilateral relations and establish new horizons for partnership and cooperation across diverse economic, investment, cultural, and scientific sectors.
His Majesty further conveyed his heartfelt wishes for the King’s enduring success and for the continued prosperity and advancement of the Spanish people.
His Majesty the Sultan was accompanied during the visit by a high-level official delegation.
