Muscat: The Earthquake Monitoring Center at Sultan Qaboos University has reported a significant seismic event that occurred in Indonesia earlier today. According to the official earthquake report, the tremor registered a magnitude of 7.0 (Mw) at 9:48 AM local time.
The epicenter was located in Indonesia, approximately 9,153 kilometers east of Muscat, Oman with a shallow depth of 10 kilometers.
