Arijit Singh and Madhubanti Bagchi  win big at Indian Filmfare Awards

Muscat: The 70th Filmfare Awards 2025 turned into a star-studded celebration of Indian cinema in Ahmedabad, honouring the year’s best performances and music.

Arijit Singh won the Best Playback Singer (Male) award for his soulful track in Laapataa Ladies, while Madhubanti Bagchi bagged the Best Playback Singer (Female) title for her hit song Aaj Ki Raat from Stree 2.

The voice that has captivated audiences across the world is now coming to the Middle East — and Muscat will have the honour of hosting Madhubanti Bagchi’s first-ever live performance in the region.
Madhubanti, whose chart-toppers have stormed the internet — Aaj Ki Raat (Stree 2, 960M+ YouTube views), Uyi Amma (Azaad, 400M+ views), Peelings (Pushpa 2: The Rule, 200M+ views), Dil-e-Nadaan (Housefull 5, 50M+ views), and Tum Mere Na Huye (Thamma, 40M+ views and rising) — will perform live at Sheraton Oman Hotel on November 7, 2025, as part of her global tour.

Speaking to Times of Oman from the United States, where she is performing a series of concerts, Madhubanti said: “I am excited to perform in Muscat for the first time. Looking forward to seeing you all at Sheraton Oman.”

Her performance will follow the Middle East Dance Championships Grand Finale, taking place the same morning on Friday, November 7.

Tickets will be available at Platinum List Oman from Tuesday.

The events are being organised in association with Muscat Media Group, Nexus Novel, and Kings United Dance Academy. 

Sheraton Oman Hotel serves as the hospitality, venue, and ticketing partner, while Travel Point is the official Travel Partner.
