Task Force on Bacteriological and Toxin Weapons Convention holds meetings

Muscat: The Command of the Sultan's Armed Forces (COSAF) held the second meeting of the National Task Force on studying the mechanism of implementing the Convention on the Prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological and Toxin Weapons and their Destruction.

The meeting, which included representatives from relevant government bodies.

During the meeting, participants discussed the vital role of institutional cooperation in supporting national biological security and safety. They also reviewed key future trends and the best ways to enhance national capabilities in this field.

This meeting is part of Oman's commitment to strengthening its national security system to protect the safety of its society and environment. It also reinforces the country's active participation in related international efforts.
