Al Hamra: Seventeen Contracts worth more than OMR5 million were signed on Tuesday by Al Dakhiliyah Governorate to implement development projects.
The contracts included 11 for development and service projects and 6 for investment projects. The step was in pursuance of plans to enhance infrastructure in the governorate’s wilayats.
The contracts were signed by Sheikh Hilal Said Al Hajri, Governor of Al Dakhiliyah, and the representatives of the companies that will implement the projects.
The contracts included the implementation of the first phase of Jabal Shams tourism façade in the Wilayat of Al Hamra (set to cost OMR2.9 million) and the implementation of Al Jabal A’Sharqi Oasis project in the Wilayat of Al Hamra.
The contracts included the design and implementation of streets in the Wilayat of Adam and the Wilayat of Samayil and the restoration of the road leading to Izki Hospital.
The contracts also included the supply and installation of lighting pole feeder boxes in the Wilayat of Adam and the lighting of of Izki Market and Al Aqaba road in Al Hamra (about OMR710,000).
Other contracts provided for digital transformation services and projects to upgrade performance and services in the governorate.
In addition, investment contracts were signed with national companies to establish and operate tourism and entertainment projects, including Nizwa public park, as part of a drive to develop tourism facilities in the Wilayat to the tune of OMR530.
