Muscat: A delegation from the Ministry of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar visited the Ministry of Commerce, Industry, and Investment Promotion as part of efforts to enhance bilateral cooperation and exchange expertise between the two countries.
During the visit, the Qatari delegation was briefed on the “Oman Business” platform and its role in digital transformation, streamlining services, and facilitating intergovernmental coordination.
The delegation was also introduced to company establishment procedures and mechanisms for monitoring commercial activities. Additionally, the delegation visited the “Invest Oman” hall, where they learned about its functions in investment promotion and services offered to investors, as well as the operational mechanisms of the Investment Services Center and efforts to enhance the investor journey.
The Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion emphasised that this visit reflects the mutual commitment to expanding economic cooperation, underscoring that strengthening trade and industrial partnerships with Qatar represents a significant step toward regional integration and supports the objectives of “Oman Vision 2040” and “Qatar National Vision 2030.”
