Ibri: In line with the national approach to promote sustainable development and enhance quality of life across governorates, the View projects in the wilayats of Yanqul and Dank in Al Dhahirah Governorate stand out as promising models integrating tourism infrastructure, public services, and a comprehensive environmental vision.
The governorate has witnessed a qualitative leap in the development of public spaces through the establishment of two modern recreational destinations, providing an attractive environment for residents and visitors while balancing urban growth with the preservation of natural resources.
These development views represent not only architectural projects but also a practical commitment to sustainability principles. The designs respect the geographical character of the region and offer integrated service facilities that enhance local investment opportunities and support domestic tourism.
The total cost of the two projects amounts to nearly OMR4 million, encompassing a range of facilities catering to all age groups. These include green spaces, an open-air theatre, cafés, sports fields, water fountains, walking and barbecue areas, prayer facilities, and other amenities.
Eng. Nasser Ali Al Siyabi, Director General of Al Dhahirah Municipality, told Oman News Agency (ONA) that the governorate aims, through these view projects, to provide advanced municipal services and modern infrastructure leveraging technology and smart applications. This contributes to enhancing quality of life, promoting community well-being, and supporting economic growth and local investment.
He added that these projects align with the government’s approach to improve service efficiency and enhance competitiveness at local, regional, and international levels.
The municipality is also preparing to implement a new project aimed at supporting small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and encouraging productive families by providing a stimulating environment and integrated facilities. This will empower these groups and strengthen their role in the economic and social development of Al Dhahirah Governorate.

The project spans an area of 65,000 square metres and includes diverse service and recreational facilities such as a public promenade, an open amphitheater, children’s play areas, a swimming pool, water fountains, food kiosks, parking spaces, a reception building, and pedestrian walkways.
